How do i get rid of Willard’s Acacia tree? This tree has been growing everywhere in my home.Is there something a chemical or spray to stop them from growing.. there about 80 small trees about 4 inches tall each we take them out with our hand and they grow again in another spot.
White acacia tree...? This was a very nice dream... so... i was at home, in bed, but my room had no roof. Instead, i could see the sky, through the branches of a huge blooming white acacia tree. It was very early in the morning, the sky was baby blue, with no clouds, and it was very quiet. It looked like the tree was hugging the house, sort of like it was really a tree house. And the tree was full of flowers, and they were all white, and they smelled so sweet. And there were bees looking for polen, and other bugs playing on the leaves. It was just so beautiful. What does it mean? By white acacia tree i mean a huge tree who's flowers look like wisteria flowers, just as big, only white. Jeez, should i say that i live in an apartment? No yard to clean... How funny.
Where can you find and Acacia tree? im looking for two answers not just a geographic location im not looking for one to grow for myself..its a trivia question i want a geographic location and another answer that isnt a geographic location (not including hadware stores or the internet)

What kind of tree is in my Kansas backyard? We just moved to our new house and there are trees all over the neighborhood like this, but no one knows what they are. We live on the Eastern side of Kansas near Kansas City.

If there were no living trees on the Ark how did acacia ants survive? They eat only the nectar of acacia trees. So how did they survive a year on the ark. Also, how the heck did they manage to walk from Central America to the ark. even if there was a lnad bridge, they would have had to bring the tree along for food, Jan K you have hit the nail on the head. Christians must either discard the notion of the flood or discard the notion that evolution is false. Take your pick.
How did acacia ants survive the flood? Acacia ants are specialized to eat the nectar of an acacia tree. They have a tight symbiotic relationship with the tree in which the ants provide protection *in exchange* for nectar. The ants are only found in Central and (I think) South American. So in order for them to survive on the ark, they would have needed a living acacia tree. How did the ants and the tree make it to whereever Noah was so they could board the ark? Did the ants carry the tree with them or something? Face it - only children believe the story of Noah's Ark.

How could I let my giraffes browse of my acacia forest without them killing the trees? A have a a few small acacia forest throughout my 100 acres of land which I am building a African Game breeding facility, no, it's not for hunting porpoises, but for conservations reasons as well as to support zoos with rare and not so rare animals. What do the nests of Wild Peach Faced Lovebirds look like? What are the characteristics of their nests in trees. I do know they can nest in roof tiles, cactus holes, etc., but I saw a very high somewhat flimsy nest in a sweet acacia tree (which could also be a dove's nest). Anyone have an idea of what they look like? Thanks!!
Why are the leaves on my Acacia Dealbata falling off? I bought a Acadia Dealbata a few weeks ago, but since it was still too cold to place outside (the label said it needed a temp. of min. 4 Celcius), I've put it in my living room. The room is generally warm, but not hot and certainly not cold. I've kept the plant watered, although it seems to dry out really quickly, making it hard to keep up with (I guess I've ended up watering it three times a week). Unfortunately we don't get much sun in our living room, so maybe that's the problem. However all my other plants don't seem to suffer from the 2-3 hours a day filtered sun-light light. Of course, they aren't flowering plants either. And, to add to the confusion, at the top of the tree, there're are several new spring-green leaves, although the lower leaves seem to be suffering. Help!!! I got it for my birthday, and it wasn't particularly cheap, so I'd really like to save it somehow but can't find much info on the web or anywhere. Thanks for answering my question. Oh, the falling leaves resemble pine needles. In other words, the leaves aren't falling off from the trunk of the tree, rather the "needles" are falling off the leaves and are kind of yellowish looking.
How do I kill some trees? I have some shoe string acacia trees that planted them selves and I want to get rid of them before they get out of hand. They are growing like weeds. I cut one down and it came back like a hideous bush can I put some thing on it to kill it? They are too deep to dig up or I would have done that.

What types of thorn trees grow in Texas? I do not have a photo. The most important detail is the presence of small (~1 cm) thorns, dark red in color and occurring in pairs or singularly. The leaves are serrate with acute bases and pointed tips. The leaves appear to be compound, but on that I am not positive; they are arranged opposite+pinnate. It appears somewhat similar to the Bois d'Arc, but it is not a perfect match. We've also ruled out Acacia and Mesquite. The tree grows in Texas. What other types of thorn trees grow in Texas?
What is Acadia Wood/Tree? I found a really nice looking cutting board that says it's made of Acadia Wood, but then I searched "acadia wood" and "acadia trees" on Google and didn't really find much other than Acadia is a country and their people are Acadian... (Not exactly what I was looking for.) And pictures of Acadia trees. I also found info about "Acacia" trees but I don't know if that's the same thing of different. I am looking for information about the wood... Is it dense? Is it a strong wood? Is it a heavy or light wood? Any other info you know about Acadia wood or Acadia trees would be helpful. The cutting board is $50 and I want to know if it's worth it.
How would you spell Acacia? Acacia is the correct way (it's a tree/flower), but if I was to use this as a first name for a child, I know the spelling of it would cause huge problems with pronunciation. How would you spell it? Acacia, Acasia, Acaysha, Akaysha, Akaisha, or another way?
Alona or Acacia as a name in my book? I'm writing a book currently, and in it there's a race called Kkenites and they live in the forest. They all wear a lot of green and brown, but I don't know which tree name to name one of the girl main characters!
is a, 18W Phillips genie, sufficient artificial light for indoor growing of plants? I have 3 African tree seedlings in pots, Acacia Galpinii, to be exact. I want to make bonsais out of them but I live in Holland and do not have enough natural light in the house. They need to be outside actually but our climate is to cold for this kind of tree, so I went looking for grow lights and the best I could find was energy saving lamps that emit 100W of light using 18W of energy. I do not know if it would be enough to sustain the plants through the winter and do I need more than 3 of these laps.
What are the most common trees used in paper production? Which tree do different paper manufacturers prefer? I'm sure that manufacturers from different parts of the world use different trees.

Is Jesus Christ real or did we as humans create him? I personally think along time ago some dude blew this thing way out of proportion and got everyone to believe that God, if you think he really exists, sent his son Jesus Christ to die for our sins. I find it hard to believe. And i know this is a touchy subject and hardcore religious people are gonna think im a devil worshiper (which im not) and try to tell me to let Jesus Christ into my life and what not but i just want answers. Can anyone give me a computer link or a book or a youtube video, something that talks about this kind of stuff. Like i did research and you know the story in the bible about the burning bush, the Acacia tree. I researched the Acacia tree and it turns out there are trace levels of DMT (a natural drug that makes you trip) in the tree. So the guy sopposedly being able to talk to God through a burning bush was actually probably tripping and thought he talked to God. idk call me crazy it just makes sense.

When the boat reaches pt.B 3.5 km from A the lighthouse makes an angle of 50 degrees with the boat's path. How far from the lighthouse is the boat from point B? thank you in advance.
Was Moses High on Mount Sinai, Moses was on psychedelic drugs? Moses was high on drugs: Israeli researcher" The world wide media interest in Benny Shanon's paper about Moses and entheogens, is encouraging us to take a good and hard look at the roots of religions and the notion that they were based on fertility cults, and shamanic practices such as Entheogens (or hallucinogenic) plants as a source of spiritual communion with the universal consciousness, or the mind of God. John Allegro, in his book "The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross: A Study of the Nature and Origins of Christianity within the Fertility Cults of the Ancient Near East", postulated through the etymology of words and relates how the development of language indicated that the roots of the religions emanating from the Middle East were based on fertility cults, and shamanic practices such as Entheogens (or hallucinogenic) plants as a source of spiritual communion with the universal consciousness, or the mind of God.. Back in the 1960's the reaction against these ideas was so strong that it destroyed Allegro's career, the book was not published in the UK as it was regarded as blasphemous, and blasphemy was still a crime. It's good to think that we have made some progress in recent years. Allegro's theory was visionary and ground-breaking. He was the first to propose in some detail that two major religions Christianity and by extension Judaism were entheogen-oriented and that the entheogen was Amanita Muscaria. His book was published at a time when there was little or no awareness about the use of entheogens, and was indeed a courageous act to publish this book. Another great explorer and pathfinder in human consciousness was Terence Mckenna, in his book "Food of the Gods: The Search for the Original Tree of Knowledge A Radical History of Plants, Drugs, and Human Evolution", proposed that hallucinogenic plants, in this case Psilocybin mushrooms, were at the astounding and unexplained evolution and development of the human brain in such a short time of the evolutionary time scale (just 500,000 years from the hominids), in other words how we developed from our ape relatives . His theory also encompasses the development of linguistics , human civilisation. JERUSALEM (AFP) - High on Mount Sinai, Moses was on psychedelic drugs when he heard God deliver the Ten Commandments, an Israeli researcher claimed in a study published this week. Such mind-altering substances formed an integral part of the religious rites of Israelites in biblical times, Benny Shanon, a professor of cognitive psychology at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem wrote in the Time and Mind journal of philosophy. "As far Moses on Mount Sinai is concerned, it was either a supernatural cosmic event, which I don't believe, or a legend, which I don't believe either, or finally, and this is very probable, an event that joined Moses and the people of Israel under the effect of narcotics," Shanon told Israeli public radio on Tuesday. Moses was probably also on drugs when he saw the "burning bush," suggested Shanon, who said he himself has dabbled with such substances. "The Bible says people see sounds, and that is a classic phenomenon," he said citing the example of religious ceremonies in the Amazon in which drugs are used that induce people to "see music." Israeli researcher He mentioned his own experience when he used ayahuasca, a powerful psychotropic plant, during a religious ceremony in Brazil's Amazon forest in 1991. "I experienced visions that had spiritual-religious connotations, " Shanon said. He said the psychedelic effects of ayahuasca were comparable to those produced by concoctions based on bark of the acacia tree, that is frequently mentioned in the Bible.
What do you think of this so far? “There's much to be said about the beauty of darkness, The moon and stars call darkness their home.” ~Kaige~ With the anger inside, I needed somewhere to go to cool down. Somewhere peaceful. Somewhere I could take my mind off of things. My eyes scrutinized the forest around me. The trees were covered in a thick layer of snow and the pond beneath my fingers were frigid. I slipped into a sudden reverie. Flashbacks of the beautiful girl filled my mind blistering. What am I doing here, I thought as I pulled my hand from the water. Someone’s thoughts filled my mind making me even more vexed. It’s not you fault, Amaranths thoughts penetrated my mind. I turned around to see her swaying back in forth in one of the trees. What are you doing here? I thought as she jumped down and walked over toward me. Hunting, she answered. She wrapped her lithe arms around me and I took in her Lilac scent. She wasn’t aware that it had been along time since the last time I hunted. She hurried and pulled away from me when she heard what I was thinking. This can stop, she thought and leaned against the big Acacia tree. I leered at her as if she was my enemy and said, “ You really think that,” I took in the lifeless air around me and kept talking. “ You really believe that she will come back, that she will be here right in my arms now!” I shouted. I’m sorry, she mused and darted back to big mansion. I followed, out running her in such momentum. I was right. She wasn’t going to come back, she was gone. Gone forever. I bolted into the house and walked down the long corridor which led to Cyan’s study. He knew that I was coming, because when I opened the door he was standing at the window facing me. His long black hair dangled over his broad shoulders and his face read nothing but choleric. I walked over toward him swiftly and paid my obeisance to him. His cold hand touched the back and my neck and I felt a sudden ache in my body that I was familiar with. “ How long has it been?” His voice was mellifluous and smooth. I knew the answer exactly. Weeks, months, maybe years, I thought and the pain began to grow stronger. “ I don’t know,” I lied. I could tell he knew the veracity of the matter. He pushed me against the wall making me lose my equilibrium. I was too infirm to fight back because of the lack of blood. “ Maybe I should just kill you myself, if that’s what you want. Since you won’t feed anymore, because of that human girl!” He began vociferating loudly. “ Yeah, maybe you can do that! You can take this curse that I have away from me and I won’t suffer any damn longer!” “ Curse is what you call it. A damn curse, this is your life. You have to live with this for the rest of your life, or should I even mention life. Life is for humans, Kaige. Do you want to rot in a sarcophagus or do you want to sleep in one and wake up and smell the delightful blood of the world. Its your choice. You want to choose to hunt or to perish inside?” He said and helped me up. I knew that I needed to hunt and I knew that if I did I would feel much better. “ How do I forget about this all? How do I forget about her?” I asked and leaned against the wall. He smiled and his voice began to fill the room. “ For 300 hundred years I felt what you felt, I felt that pain inside.” He said and walked over to a painting of a beautiful young girl. She had brown, ebony curls and her cheeks glowed with a tint of cherry pink. Her eyes were cerulean and azure. She’s so beautiful, I thought and smiled. “ Her name is Isabel, my mortal love. I was a new born when I met her. Her blood was so saccharine and all I thought was that she was so beautiful, I didn’t realize that such beauty could exist until I saw her.” His smile sadden. “ I killed her, I couldn’t bare the smell of her blood. I had that guilt you feel now.” he said and walked over toward me. “ I should have listened to you, I should have remain hidden to the mortals, but its too late.” I said in a low voice. “ Your a murderer, don’t always listen to what I say, sometimes I may be wrong. Now you must leave, I have work to do.” He said and sat behind the large wooden desk. I bowed down to him and walked out into the dark halls filled with my family of vampires.

Now you must leave, I have work to do.” He said and sat down behind the large wooden desk. I bowed down to him and walked out into the dark halls filled with my family of vampires. “ Do you want a drink?” Amaranth said and handed me a wineglass filled with blood. I smiled and took the glass. I drunk it down thirstily and a flow of sensation went through my body. “ Kaige, is now back.” She smiled and handed me another. She was now wearing a satin gown with a close-fitted bodice. She was beautiful, but not quite my type. “ Want some more,” she asked and grabbed my hand. I followed her up the broad staircase and to her boudoir. She sat down on the ebony bed and laid back against the red canopy and I walked over toward her in temptation. I pulled her body toward mine and traced my lips up her neck. Her skin burned like winter fire under mine, my teeth p
I need an idea for my story? Here's what i have so far, “There's much to be said about the beauty of darkness, The moon and stars call darkness their home.” ~Kaige~ With the anger inside, I needed somewhere to go to cool down. Moses on drugs? "High on Mount Sinai, Moses was on psychedelic drugs when he heard God deliver the Ten Commandments, an Israeli researcher claimed in a study published this week. "The Bible says people see sounds, and that is a classic phenomenon," he said citing the example of religious ceremonies in the Amazon in which drugs are used that induce people to "see music." He said the psychedelic effects of ayahuasca were comparable to those produced by concoctions based on bark of the acacia tree, that is frequently mentioned in the Bible." Was Moses inspired by entheogen, a psychoactive substance? A speculative hypothesis is presented according to which the ancient Israelite religion was associated with the use of entheogens (mind-altering plants used in sacramental contexts). The hypothesis is based on a new look at texts of the Old Testament pertaining to the life of Moses. The ideas entertained here were primarily based on the fact that in the arid areas of the Sinai peninsula and Southern Israel there grow two plants containing the same psychoactive molecules found in the plants from which the powerful Amazonian hallucinogenic brew Ayahuasca is prepared. The two plants are species of Acacia tree and the bush Peganum harmala. The hypothesis is corroborated by comparative experiential-phenomenological observations, linguistic considerations, exegesis of old Jewish texts and other ancient Mideastern traditions, anthropological lore, and ethnobotanical data.
poem analysis.... does any1 have any idea wat this poem means? RITUAL FOR LEAVING Go now, and go at noon When this city shall stand Intense in the light, Equal to your silent grief. There are many ways of taking leave: Even when we choose to be dumb Our bodies, hands, feet, senses, Motion their own speeches as we go numb Gathering things to pack from room to room Or weaving the streets and boulevard After the usual beer at sundown. It is easier to leave In the middle of day- The view from the port, postcard-pretty, Accented by kitchen smoke And blooming acacia trees- An ordinary scene on an October day Which will probably br the same When you come back: a strange assurance Of infinities or that something We call indestructible need the 1) tone 2) meaning of the poem 3) why noon? not sundown?

Holy Moses - was he on drugs? The Acacia tree, frequently mentioned in the bible contains one of the most psychedelic substances known to man, and has been used in religious rituals. If you had a personal Jesus, claiming to be the son of ( God Almighty ), who had a chippy on his list of our fathers hanging around wearing a stinky pair of sandals - wouldn't you be driven to drugs? I was just wondering how many "Hailing Marys' I'd need to do to have my head sorted to perfection, but as Monty Python would say.... Always look on the bright side of life. Exactly. So if Moses actually saw a burning bush without being consumed whilst, dare I say it, under the influence, what do you think he actually saw???? Yohimbe Trees, seeds, seedlings.? Ok, I've looked, and I DON'T want to buy pills or raw bark. I just want either seeds, bare root stock, or full on trees. Does anyone know where you can buy any? And yes, I'm in the US, and yes my pee pee works perfectly fine, thank you. I've just always wanted a Yohimbe tree, along with an Acacia and Baobab tree.
totally get it? I performed a simple back-yard experiment with my Leica 530 GPS system this morning. I set the base station in a clear area by the pool, set a point nearby on the deck, and a second point under a tree (Acacia) canopy. Every 20 minutes or so I shot the points. Each was measured once, then shot five times in a row using the Leica averaging feature. For the mean coordinates I used the average of the multiplied points. I wanted to see how the Leica 530 would measure under normal field conditions, including how well I held the rod on the point using a bipod. Satellites ranged from 8 to 10 to 8 during the five hours I ran the experiment. In the last hour I could not get any shots under the tree canopy, but got them easily on the deck. In the real world I would simply have extended the slide pole to get above the canopy, but in this case I wanted to see how the unit would measure under the canopy. Note the one large elevation deviation on a single tree shot. Although I had the position limits set for 0.05' H and 0.06' V, with a combined quality of 0.08', the system did not detect the bad shot under the canopy. The results indicate to me that the Leica 530 is quite suitable for boundary and topographical work, but care must be taken near a canopy because degradation does occur (which is why I use a slide pole, and have a variety of offset routines). Always be aware of the possibility of a bad shot from a variety of multipath sources, including trees, power poles, and building walls. I have detected five bad shots on my surveys in the past several years and every one of them was unexpected. Bruce F. A question for veggies:Do you know that plants have life so how can you eat it? All botanists agree that plants have life here is an example: "Plants seem to know which ants will steal their nectar, closing when these ants are about, opening only when there is enough dew on their stems to keep the ants from climbing. The more sophisticated acacia plant actually enlists the protective services of certain ants which it rewards with nectar in return for the ants' protection against other insects and herbivorous mammals," thus serving the same function as friends and allies do in the animal and human realms. Some vegetation develop a bitter taste, some ooze gummy secretions, while others grow thorns to defend themselves. Acacia trees produce tannin to defend themselves when they are grazed upon by animals. The airborne scent of the tannin is picked up by other acacia trees, which then start to produce tannin themselves as a protetction from the nearby animals. When attacked by caterpillars, some plants can release chemical signals to attract parasitic wasps that attack the caterpillars Just another typical Brit presuming plants do not feel pain are you not by eating them depriving them the gift of life?

please help with essay..have to finish it on one hour??? the information below is off of wikipeida...it isn't my essay...just info to help you guys help me! It tells the story of four dissimilar women in post-World War I England who leave damp and rainy London to go on a holiday to a secluded coastal villa in Italy (Portofino). Two housewives, who belong to the same church but have never spoken, become acquainted. Each in her own way is suffering through an empty marriage and faces the prospect of a lonely and almost isolated middle age. After seeing a newspaper ad for a villa for rent on the Italian Riviera, the women set about finding two other ladies to share expenses. Joined by a beautiful young socialite and an elderly dowager, the four find rejuvenation in the tranquil beauty of their surroundings. Much like the film this book by Elizabeth Von Arnim inspired, there is something peaceful here on these pages. This is a gentle novel about the gradual internal changes brought about by the beauty of our surroundings. It is a book that reads itself as much as it is read, the author writing with the flow of the character's thoughts and feelings as their hearts are changed by the surprise of beauty. An ad to rent a castle in San Salvatore on the Italian Riviera will prompt two only slightly acquainted British women named Rose and Lottie to inexplically leave their husbands behind for a summer that will change their lives and their marriages forever. Joining Rose and Lottie for this holiday is Mrs. Fisher, an older woman living in the past, and Lady Caroline Dester, a grey-eyed society beauty tired of being gawked at like a majestic statue, not allowed to be human. Diverse in nature and temperment, not to mention background, they interact uneasily together until the flowers and the sea bring about a change in their souls. Surrounded by fig and olive trees, plum blossoms and Tamarisk daphnes, and the scents of fortune's yellow rose and blooming acacia, the women slowly find their roles at this castle by the sea and in doing so find themselves as well. New insights will prompt Rose and Lottie to send for their husbands. Lady Caroline, or 'Scrap' as she is known, will find love in spite of her wish to be alone and her great beauty. Mrs. Fisher will form a friendship with Lottie and her husband and discover a renewed zest for creativity in this heaven by the sea. This is a novel about life and love, told gently through the emotions of these women, as the surprise of beauty and the warmth of being suddenly admired and seen as beautiful, when they had not been before, changes their simple lives, which were not so simple at all. You will definitely enjoy this novel if you enjoyed the lovely film it inspired. A peaceful yet breathtaking portrait of love is painted by the author in a pleasing and gentle manner readers will fall in love with. A beautiful read on paper, or listened to unabridged with Nadia May reading. This is a book that refreshes the soul and calms the spirit. It is about love restored and love discovered, along the wistaria covered steps leading down to the sea. Help please…I have to finish an essay by tonight…the essay question is…..show how small changes in an individual’s life or routine can influence changes in one’s outlook, mood or personality. Using evidence from the film support this statement..Basically the women completely let their minds slipp…and immerse themselves into the beauty of their surroundings…and a small change like this really changes their outlook, mood and personalities. The four rent San Salvatore together, and immediately begin to change. Lotty loses her nervous demeanor, and becomes a self confident, mature woman. Rose blossoms when she realizes that she does possess beauty, and wins back the love of her formerly indifferent husband. Margaret thaws out and begins to smile and relax, even conversing with the other tenants, living in the present instead of the dusty past.
